An Effective Path to Recovery

What is Medical Detox?

The first step in recovery, medical detox is a way to clear the body of drugs and alcohol under the supervision of medical professionals.

When a person is physically dependent on drugs or alcohol, stopping suddenly is not just difficult, but sometime unsafe.  Withdrawal symptoms can range from headaches, vomiting, and overwhelming feelings of anxiety to more serious issues like seizures.

With medication regimens that ease withdrawal symptoms and a twenty-four-hour medical team on hand, the goal of our detox program is to clear the body in a safe and supportive environment.
